A dream flat –
My wife suddenly told me she had
bought us a new flat just outside of
Stockholm since she wanted us to
get away from the traffic and move
closer to nature and it was a smaller
flat not as large and nice as our
present flat but it was from the
fifties and had a certain charm and
she said there was a beautiful
balcony with a terrace with a
wonderful view and the flat was on
the fifth floor and when I walked out
on the balcony it was glass all
around and we closed the door and
suddenly I realized the balcony was
a lift and Marie said that we were
just taking the lift up to the terrace
and it was only a few more floors up
but the lift went on further up and
I am really scared of heights and the
lift never seemed to stop and it was
glass all around and we could see all
the way down to the ground and
I felt like I was turning to ice and
could hardly move and my whole
body was aching and the lift just
continued to move further up
and then suddenly I woke up and my
young son was sleeping close to me
and I heard that my wife was
already up preparing to head off
early to work and I just turned closer
to him and we slept for another
hour.
